Stephanie is the Managing Partner at Burnham Law and manages the Firm’s Colorado Springs office. A gifted family law attorney, she recently earned the distinction of “Top Attorneys of North America” by the Who’s Who Directories. She has a reputation for being an extremely effective litigator and a strong advocate for her clients. Stephanie attended Washburn University School of Law after obtaining a paralegal degree and working for four years as a family law and personal injury litigation paralegal. While still in school, she clerked for the Honorable Magistrate Hübler of the Denver District Court – Domestic Division and was a summer intern for the Children and Family Unit of Colorado Legal Services. She also served as an editor for the American Bar Association’s Family Law Quarterly, the most cited family law publication in the United States, and co-chaired the Children and Family Law Center. Stephanie has a passion for child advocacy and frequently represents children as a Guardian ad Litem for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center in protection order cases involving domestic violence. She is a regular Continuing Legal Education (CLE) presenter on complex legal topics and is certified in Colorado as a Child and Family Investigator (CFI). Her CFI work on behalf of the courts coupled with her knowledge of child development and her extensive trial experience makes her uniquely qualified to help families prepare for the often emotionally rigorous process of a child investigation.

Stephanie serves on the board of the Meador’s Masters Foundation, raising funds to aid victims of natural disasters and serve others in need in the U.S. and abroad.

10.0Stephanie Ann Randall
I interviewed a number of attorneys in the Colorado Springs area. My choice was Stephanie Randall of Burnham Law. She was the only one to sit down and tell me what was realistically possible and what was not. She was honest and straightforward with me, from the start and all the way through to the end. Also, I came to understand that Burnham law embodies the “team” approach. When it was debatable, Stephanie reached out to another attorney in the firm to discuss what we “can” and what we “can’t” do. When my (then) husband was threatening to come into the house over my objections, and Stephanie was tied up in court, another attorney in the firm Mary Nathan, jumped in. She went through the emails, assessed that I was in fact being threatened and immediately moved to help me get a Protection Order. When I had intricate questions about the military retirement and SBP details that would apply to my situation, Eric Amat y Leon, the Burnham attorney considered one of the top experts in the State, reached out to me to answer any and all questions I had. After haggling out this divorce for 13 months, I got to know the people at Burnham Law pretty well. They are incredible professionals, from the top to the bottom. They are dedicated, realistic, caring people who will do what needs to be done. They won’t make you pie-in-the-sky promises they can’t keep. They are realistic in their expectations, and make sure that you know what to expect and what can and cannot be done. They also kept my expenses in mind. More than a few times they asked me how badly I wanted to fight for something. I was reminded that what I wanted could potentially cost more to get than it was worth. During a divorce it gets easy to get caught up in the fighting. It’s helpful to have someone who will remind you that the expense of getting what you “want” or getting the “win” may cost more money than the value of what you’re fighting over.
It a time of crisis, when your whole world is at stake, that is exactly what I want in my counsel. I want someone who is going to tell me what can and cannot be done, what to expect and to set reasonable outcome ideals for me. I know without a doubt that hiring Burnham Law was the best decision I could have made.

My husband and I got to work with Stephanie and Donna and they made everything so smooth and easy! They were truly amazing and so dedicated to help our family and making sure we got it all taken care of! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stephanie helped me finalize my 2017 divorce quickly and efficiently. Her no nonsense style is backed up by a very sharp intellect and a terrific team. She got up to speed quickly, knew exactly what we needed to focus on, and kept us on target throughout the case. I feel comfortable recommending her to anyone involved in a divorce.

If more than 5 stars were an option, that is what I would give. I’m so happy that I had Stephanie on my side! From my first phone call and consult with her I knew she was someone who really knew what makes a case successful. After that call I was also sure that me and my daughter could not be in better hands. She made sure I would be ready and prepared for possible outcomes. She doesn’t think just one sided and gave me possibilities for how a judge might see something as well. She wasn’t making me empty promises. She’s strategic. She really listened to me and my concerns. She was patient with my frustrations and anxieties with the other party. She knew the moves the other party would make before I did and as I did. It was almost like she knew him as well as I do. I feel like her experience as a CFI was also extremely useful. She knew what my daughter needed and what was in her best interest. Her team is also wonderful! Communication was clear and prompt. If you’re looking for an attorney who will approach a case aggressively and strategically, thinks outside the box, and actually CARES about you and your case, then give her a call. No doubt she is knowledgeable in situations of high conflict or where personality disorders are present. I got 99.9% of what I wanted and asked for and I’m not sure my results would have been the same if I had gone with a different attorney. I really think things would have ended differently. Hopefully I will not need legal services again but in case I do she’s on speed dial. She’s very good at her job and I’m very grateful I had her through a very stressful process.

Stephanie Randall and Donna are truly WORLD CLASS!!! I can’t say enough about how phenomenal this Law group is. From the first moment I spoke to Mr. Burnham himself I knew I had found the best legal team in town for my family law case. I was told that they would handle my case as if it were a chess match and just like Bobby Fischer they performed with the skill of a Grandmaster. Thank you sooooo much from the bottom of my heart!
