How is Child Support Determined in Colorado?

Child support in Colorado is determined by a formula. The two largest contributing factors are: overnights with the child or children, and gross income of each party. All of the relevant information is put into a child support worksheet and child support is calculated, again, largely based on the two factors I mentioned: gross income and overnights.
